Matt & His Family

"The early bird catches the World."  What a way to start everybody's day, a sunrise family shoot with the cute Matteo, his parents, and grandparents.

And ohhhh, Belated Happy Birthday Matt! :) :) :)

Start all over again...

These past couple of months had been difficult for me.  Shaky grounds and uncertainties rocked my boat, if i may... still the fight in me, though nearly exhausted, never reached empty.  There will always be something out there if I just keep raging to fight against what is.

I'd like to share these images together with my favorite movie-line from Benjamin Button.

"For what it's worth: it's never too late to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it.

I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again."

Thanks to a client who opted to do a sunrise shoot, it helped me alot personally to slowly jumpstart the slumbering zest in me.

My Latest Featured Work

Indulge me, please... :) :) :) has always been a "high" for me seeing my works on print, especially on a magazine.  I've always believed that the greatest reward for a photographer is seeing his work on print, published or just for albums.

My latest published photo is rather quite special because it landed on a magazine dedicated to Photography (Digital Photographer Philippines Magazine).  I seldom visit their website and when I saw that they were looking for photo contributions for Still Life photos (my favorite category in this art) I've decided to try and see if my image and style would be print-worthy for a photography magazine.  Out of the hundreds of photos submitted by photographers & hobbyists alike, my image (Impasse) got in.  Yippeeee! ;)

Here is the photo (together with the other photos of mine feature on magazines).

A Date with Recesky

It has been my wish eversince to own a Lubitel or a rolleiflex tlr camera, but financial constraints hamper me 'til now... so i got myself probably my new favorite camera, a recesky (gakkenflex clone) tlr.  From its Assembly i knew it's gonna be dear to me (it has to be, assembling the little monster almost made me go nuts).
I had to take it for a test. after two hours, i got the film developed and scanned... at that instant, i knew i am in love with Recesky. :)
